Watts & Dray transformed a three-story restaurant in San Diego’s historic Gaslamp District into a destination that captivates guests and drives engagement. The design mirrors the menu’s East-West fusion through a careful balance of energy and calm, creating a space that encourages exploration and lingering. Overhead, a fluid grid of colored lighting sets a clubby tone, while a warm, rich palette grounds the space at human scale. Anchored by a central bar, the environment seamlessly blends dynamic social zones with intimate pockets, encouraging guests to move, gather, and return, turning a struggling F&B concept into a revenue-generating experience.
